Working together
CATUC's partnerships extend across the Church, the health sector, academia, industry and civil society. They shape our curriculum, open real placements and internships for students, and connect our academics to wider research and professional communities.
We are always open to new collaborations — from joint research and staff exchange to placement agreements and community projects.
Types of partnership
CATUC is owned by the Catholic Bishops of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province — the Dioceses of Bamenda, Buea, Kumbo, Mamfe and Kumba — and works closely with parishes, congregations and Catholic schools across Cameroon.
Our School of Health and Medical Sciences partners with hospitals and health centres for clinical rotations, community health outreach and applied research in maternal, child and public health.
CATUC collaborates with Cameroonian and international universities on curriculum, staff development, joint research and student mobility — including partners in Africa, Europe and North America.
Our academics contribute to and peer-review for international journals and research networks in agriculture, engineering, computer science, health and the humanities.
Our Schools work with employers and professional bodies to keep curricula relevant and to open placements, internships and graduate opportunities for our students.
Through service learning, chaplaincy and outreach, CATUC engages with parishes, NGOs and community organisations across the region.
